General Rear Wiper/Washer Probs

Guys,

I have had my 96 Brava SX 1.4 12v for 2 months and it has been bugging me. The rear wiper and washer seems to be non functional and I have checked everything; fuses connections etc.....

But stil to no avail, I was just wondering if any one of u guys had any trix up ur sleeves or any advice you could give me to help, before I go insane and buy a new motors

its a very common problem, so common that you obviously havent searched the previous therads (naughty boy)


the problem is usually caused when the water pipe comes off, then you wet the motor every time you use it. remove the plastic cover on the hatch, glue the water pipe back in place, then strip the motor down and grease it (replace with scrapyard motor if that fails).


if you do a search there are more specific instructions, including pics explaining how to strip the motor down to repair it.
