Technical Rear view mirror fallen off!

Got an abarth. I have tried to figure out how to reconnect the rear view mirror but i am absolutely stumped

Because of the auto sensors etc i cant just glue it back on. I had a look to see if there were any signs of anything being broken or any signs of previous sticking to attach but nothing? assumed it may slide and clip in to something... again no luck....

Please help, it is a very strange feeling driving around without a rear view mirror!

The same happened to me - I went to a windscreen repair company in the end, and paid them to fit it back on using industrial adhesive...

So there you go use epoxy resin.

or silicone - whatever you use just make sure both surfaces are spotless before you glue...

When I reattached my sister's Ford Ka mirror, I used some double sided padded strips, cut to size. They're incredibly strong, used something similar to attach my number plates. I concur with Jos though, whatever you end up doing, make sure you clean both surfaces before hand, perhaps using alcohol wipes or similar
