I'm sure you'll be just fine - it's a straightforward job with no real complications.

Just leave the bolts slightly loose until the weight of the car is back on its wheels, then give them their final tightening.

This will ensure that the rubber in the bushes isn't stressed when the car is sitting normally.

hmmm, just how important is to do final torque down (70nm) with car of jack, wheels on road , settled on road ?

Those bushes are the weak link in the rear suspension and tend to fail way before the shock absorption is gone so its quite important not to put them under any unecessary tension. You want the bush to get some rest when its not working!
uhuh…makes sense will have a go tomorrow. thanks

If you don't tight the bolts at its normal ride height, the rubber is will be twisted, as the car is dropped back onto it wheels

Someone had the shocks fail within a year, splits the rubber eventually

Link to instructions below

Top and bottom bolts are torqued differently

It's important to torque properly otherwise it likely to rattle soon after fitting
