Technical Rear Powerflex bushes - inappropriate fit

Hi guys, i have just changed by rear bushes with the Powerflex kit, and what is it seems strange to me is that they were in by hand, no need of pres !? Now, when the arms are bolted, they can move freely, though i can't notice if there is any free play there. Is that normal, as it's first time i use polyurethane and the rubber ones are not acting like this ?

they should just press in by hand but they shouldn't slide in without any pressure and shouldn't be any play... if they are wrong there will be loads of clunking and knocking from the rear when you drive, if not then they are prob fine.

The main advantage (at least, short term) is precisely that you don't need a press to put them in.

It's at the workshop now, i will give it a test drive when it's finished. Taking into account what you have both said, it should be fine, as they didn't "drop in" but we have pressed them by hand relatively easy.

silly question, did you insert the metal tube into the middle of the bush?

They came already assembled - metal cylinder in. Maybe the test drive will show it
