The boot was getting wet. Water was running into the door seal and out by the lock. Sorted that with PU sealant around the door seal top and sides.

BUT. water was also coming in at LHS light cluster and running down the wires. The three white grommets that accept the little pegs are broken or not holding. Gaffa tape to pull the light into place proved the pegs are causing the leak.

Shop 4 Parts don’t have any and their EPER says discontinued. Thanks Fiat.
Part numbers 71749505/06.

EBay comes up with nothing. Does anyone have a source?

Not sure which part your after

71749505/06

Doesn't exist unless you remove the /06 from the end

And that comes back as a peg not a grommet

Although you can buy the peg with a grommet

Maybe a photo of what you want would help

I cannot remove the one we have because its too brittle to play with. The other two are long gone It's the three female plugs/grommets/sockets that the rear light plugs into. The light carries three pegs. The car body has the three sockets.

This is the LHS rest light. I have tape on the top “grommet” to keep it safe as it’s cracked. The three white pins on the lamp connect with the three grommets. They keep the outer edge pulled into the body shell. This compresses the foam seal around the wiring connector. This car is leaking water because the seal is not properly compressed. Red rubber (brake grease) improves it but hasn’t fully stopped the leak.

So annoying.

Here's a (crispy) set i managed to remove from a scrap Panda...
(I didn't try to clean them as the previous 4 attempts resulted in plastic flakes and rude words)
Not sure if it helps though.

Think you might have found them!
Prices are a bit scary though... €7+ EACH from Alfa place i sometimes use.
Time to hit Google, I guess.

I looked on EPER and S4P said the pegs were only ever supplied with the rear light units.
This picture looks promising. The black part appears to press into the white part (ooh Mrs!). The crumbling white parts are the cause of my problems. But renewing the lot makes sense.

There is one supplier on eBay. £7.58 plus £4.99 postage. wt* !!!
