General quick question

quick question
as you know my car was totaly fine and i left it parked up for 2 weeks while i was on hols. when i came bk thats when the problems started .
1st the key code took ages to go out . after a few weeks it was realy slow at turning over. du think that i might have a dodgy starter motor? coz it does heat up quite a bit and would that be sending an error report to the ecu and leaving the key code light on so it wouldnt start as theres and error?

battery/charging problem is more likely

alternator is fine checked buy 3 differant ppl one aa man and battery is fine , try battery on differant car and put brand new battery on punto

If battery is ok then earth leads between battery-chassis-engine should be checked, if ok then starter motor is the only thing left.
