You have 2 items that begin with the letter I in the start menu. It only opens an item when there is no other item beginning with that letter. Press I again to find out what the other item is.

halfords prices are always double.

same for me cycle to work scheme from work gives me £50 to spend on bike stuff
when i went in halfords had a £75 offer
both were combined for me giving me £125 to spend
on the upside ive yet to have any monies taken from my wages :chin:

:idea:

One of our cats jumped my wife's laptop, and pressed a combination of keys which rotated the display by 90°.
I started trying to correct it, but I got a headache with my head twisted to read the screen and with the mouse always moving in the wrong direction
So I tried (and failed) to find the solution on my PC.

Two Ibuprofen later, and back on the laptop, I managed to find the setting to correct it - turned out that this setting is not available on the PC, so I'd wasted my time looking there. :bang:

right a made a short film thingy and the finished version is wmv.

i managed to burn one copy of it to a DVD using Nero. it had a title screen and everything.

now when i try and burn copies once its finished and i put the disc back in the machine it just opens the disc and shows the video_ts file.

sooo fooking annoying:bang:

any ideas?

autorun FFS!!!!

make an autorun file, include it on the disc, job done.

Not on a DVD . DVD's autorun once windows sees the DVD file system format I.E AUDIO_TS(optional) / VIDEO_TS folders with *.vob files in it then plays the one thats numbered lowest unless there is a *.ifo file present which is a DVD 'playlist'.

I'd say your doing something wrong while burning it mikee.

exactly what i thought.

if the dvd doesnt come up asking you what to play it through then it effectively isnt a dvd.

its just showing the files on the actual disc.

Ive tried 2 versions of nero now

might try on my home comp

Sounds like your doing something wrong. Just do a 1:1 copy of your good DVD with nero. You may want to copy it with DVD Shrink as a last resort.
