It all depends really on what happened and how much fuss you kick up:
If the doctor prescribed one thing and the pharmacy gave another then you are entitled to the correct thing, complain at the pharmacy to get the right item (but not a refund).

If the doctor prescribed what they thought was right and it was suitable given the scenario but simply hasn't worked/ had side effects, then no.

If the doctor meant to prescribe one thing but cocked up and gave you something else (which the pharmacy dispensed in good faith), then not really, but complaining to the surgery may get you your money back.

If you want to PM me the details then I can guide you further (y)

Thanks will do.

before anyone points it out i have used the guide. but to check the offset of a whell

am i right it is:

ET = T - OW/2

T = back space (space from where the wheel would touch the hub to the outside of the inner rim)

OW = overall wheel width (outside edge of wheel face to outside edge of the back of the wheel)

and that it should be in mm

ie

OW=210mm
T=145mm

so my offest should be this:

ET= 145 - 210/2

ET= 145 - 105

ET= 40

that correct?

what sort of relay do i need for a starter motor solenoid relay. it needs to be 30 amp, but what's the name for the type that switches when current is applied, and turns off once current is removed. it's not a changeover one is it?

I know what you mean but can't think of the name either.

There is a greatbit in maplin cat and assume their website also about relays and they're tyes/names (y)

Hi all,

Anyone in the metal industry out there that can help, or point me in the right direction for some cheap 12 gauge 38mm CDS tube?

Most motorsport places (wrong place to look maybe!?) want between £16 and £18.50/m, and like anything i'm sure it might be cheaper elsewhere, but i dont think calling large metal suppliers for 15m of tube is on - is it...?

Cheers

Tom

even tho is should know can i have that in layman terms?

15 meters of tube is a fair bit we get it delivered up to 12 and sometimes its just one tube they will charge you a delivery charge tho.

our local stockholders, Thomas Graham, will sell you whatever length you want. At that size i think its still around £12+ per metre to joe public. I imagine your nearest place should do the same.

FYI you cant get lengths longer than 12m, its industry standard.

Sorry guys, i've mislead you!

In total i need approx 15 meters - i'm designing and building a roll-cage to replace my OMP bolt in 6 point jobby.

(Although i am an OK welder, before you panic i'm tacking it and having a friend who's been doing it years weld it in.

I have a large pillar drill, selection of hole saws, and a good quality tube notcher.. i would like a profile master, but at £60 odd quid i may try and get around it - we'll see. I'll get the bends done properly with mandrels too..)

Off-cuts would be great (one to practice on, but two because i need plenty of short lengths.

The chap that asked: CDS = cold drawn steel)

I'll try Thomas Graham :)

Thanks guys

Tom
