Lol, be interesting to see what happens now.....

I can't believe a newbie would come along and put in £9100 [after all, he would have only seen £360 or so as next highest bid with the increments]. It has to be a fake ID to compensate for the 'wrong' initial bid.
 
If it's around £150 or less and got some tax left so I can drive it home, then yep :) any idea of the engine size and general condition of the car?
 
One problem: I've not got anything to tow it back with, a 1.1 Punto isn't going to cope with a ton of Capri behind it! Thats what attracted me to the ebay car; it had 2 months' rent left in the window and was a runner.
If this Capri drives ok without overheating I suppose I could drive it back in the dead of night ;)
 
You can buy tax for it then get it refunded for each month that you didn't use it - i.e pay £110 or whatever it is for a disk then next day take it to the post office and claim 11 months back so you've only spent a tenner... just an idea you'd need to get an off-road certificate for it.
