Technical Proxi Alignment Query

Hey everyone!

Recently I changed by dashboard on my Mk2 Pre-Facelift and ever since I constantly flashes the mileage. Now I'm a mechanic but the hardware we have for diagnostics will only do proxi alignments on later model Puntos.
Does anyone know of a cheap, easy way to get this fixed? And preferably to also be able to reset and input the correct mileage onto it afterwards? Or would the proxi alignment automatically do that? Because i'd really rather not take it to a dealer especially when the nearest (and their London flagship) have just closed.
