a) Pandawoman likes mixing cement
b) John can grow his hair long and I can't
c) He can also grow a beard if he wants and I can't
d) He has a restored Panda and I don't
e) Homeward is thinking of doing everything
f) Kev is selling up
g) Vern is a mastercraftsman and I'm not

don't get too down i am sure you can do things that the others can't (not sure what,only you can answer that) there are a couple of pandas on e bay at the moment so you could yet have a restored one (once you've bought one and sweet talked vern into doing it).
ps..vern will owe me commission on any work he does for you.

didn't know there was an inner circle of pandits....but i assume it is all you clever chaps that seem to know what you are talking about. no hope of my joining that social group on the forum then ! maybe i should start a group for people who love all things panda classic but are basically clueless on the finer details. what have i got myself into?
still not sure what the rotisserie thing is all about unless it is one of those contraptions you strap the chassis onto and can then turn it upside down to work on.

There's actually no hierarchy in the classic Panda section... -- and there's a whole range of knowledge and experience. All comers welcome...!
There are also no stupid questions: as it's only through asking (well, and doing) that you learn.
