Hi
My daughter's Marbella has a problem with hot starting, in that it wont! She gets to the shops and then it wont start when she gets back in it. Usually starts after about half an hour when its cooled down and the ice cream's melted!.Spark's good and fuels getting through after replacing a split hose that was sucking in air, but still this prob.
Its low miles (40K) and the engine really pulls well for such a little squirt, but its driving her mad. Am going to do the usual renewals (plugs, points, condenser and coil) She may be flooding it but as its essentially a prehistoric Panda is there anything I should be checking specific to this model? I have to add that when I was young and could still see my willie while standing straight I had many rwd pushrod fords et.c so am fairly comfortable with this type of engine.
Thanks
