Power Streering

Hi all. New to this, but have an issue with my Bravo. Power steering has gone & the battery light seems to stay on. Do we know if the P.S is hydraulic or electric? My Bravo is a 1.9 JTDM Sport on a 57 plate.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

The Power Steering is Hydraulic most likely run via a belt that also runs the alternator, check the belt hasn't snapped..
