General Ply rear windows

Hi,

My rear windows on the van are just glass at the moment. Im thinking about making a template & cutting ouy some ply to put over them.

How would I go about attaching the ply to the window? I'm thinking glue of some sort but wouldn't this look rubbish from the outside if you could see glue all over the glass?

Anyone else ply lined their rear doors? If so how is yours attached?
