Just replaced front and rear rotors and pads on 2008 Scudo.
Front was a simple procedure once I had the correct Torx socket.
Pushed back the piston and put everything back.
Rear brakes were a different story.
The socket had not enough room so needed to buy "standard ring spanner" with Torx head instead of a hex, to fit the bolt head . Caliper removal was uneventful.
The caliper piston was different , it just wouldn't compress.
After lots of trying and then by accident I stumbled onto a site that showed that this piston has to be compressed by screwing it back into place.
I know now, but how annoying to have different brake caliper pistons on front and rear of the same vehicle , I can't see any advantage in this variance.
Keeps us on our toes , maybe.
