I picked up my "new" Panda 100hp last week. It's Professor's old car, the white one with the red leather retrim.

I bought it from a Skoda dealer after doing a deal on the phone. Picked it up covered in dirt and snow and with 6000 more miles on the clock than advertised so wasn't best pleased.

Wish I'd been able to pick it up from Professor himself as the condition of the car is a credit to him and loving the red leather interior! What a great looking little car.

Loving the zippy nature and handling of the car and averaged over 50mpg on the wayback up to Edinburgh from Newcastle.

A few niggles I need to sort out like - the bluetooth is driving me mad, after reseting the system and finally syncing it with my iPhone 4 I can hear the caller but nobody can hear me, it's like the microphone isn't working / is disconnected. Also think I need to change the wiper blades as they are very shuddery!

Good to see it is back on the forum! The condition on pickup is taking the **** though!

Would love to see some more pics of it and pics of your f355 :D

Will get some pics of both beasts soon, once the weather improves!

Is that a 430 in the background of your avatar?

The seat heater switches are neatly installed on either side of the gearlever hump on the dashboard (if that makes sense?) I'll try and post a pic. They come in very handy for this weather that's for sure!

Anyone had any problems with the bluetooth microphone? I think mine is broken/disconnected possibly.

Yes an f430 spider :yum:, although it is not mine :(.

I had the same problem with the bluetooth in my car when I first got it because the previous owner did not use the system. The way I solved it was going on the audio menu and turning the external speaker volume right up to about 20 something I think. It sounds like your system is working but it just is really quiet so that you cannot hear the person on the other end of the phone but they can hear you.

Actually my problem is the opposite, I can hear the other person but they can't hear anything, not even a faint hint of me screaming at the other end. :)

Hmm, probably a problem with the mic in the car then but I don't think they are too hard or expensive to replace.

Think the mikes have been known to go wrong.

Its a very nice car and if I had been in a slightly different position (not with 5 cars already) I would have bought it.
Almost good I didnt as the Prof offered it to me for 5750 and within 3 weeks it was for sale from the dealer at 5500.

Sounds like the salesman at the dealers has been out enjoying himself. Probably one of them with a long commute so they use whatever has come in and the mileage wont be a problem on.

At a 6k difference I would be asking for recompense.

Mic wise, there are some phones that have a bluetooth recieve level adjust (if that makes sense) allowing you to adjust the gain on the reciever, don't know if the iPhone has one though.

Have you checked that it isn't just full of fluff/dirt, try blasting it with a compressed air spray? Not had anyone complain mine is low so far though. (and I totally get the annoyance at the stupid ruddy italian voice/setup system)

Oh, and I changed the blades on mine to flat/aero wipers on day two, MASSIVE difference

Trade descriptions act, it's there to back us all up in situations like this.

Few hundred miles on top expected for delivery but, NOT THOUSANDS !!!

better than a kick in the teeth I suppose.

Manage to sort the microphone easily?

Hope the early upsets haven't dented your enjoyment of the car
