yep i see were you comming from and you are right. i was measuring middle but i was measuring middle from a straigh on look and not allowing for the perspective. anywayi have movedthe bar over and it does looks better
this time its deffinatly it for the front lol

yeah the bonet vent jst came to me and i found it quiet easy to do i was surprised lol i think i need some more work towards back but as for what i dont know i dont like to make em to crazy as you know lol

Well here's what i have got so far, it's still far from finished but at least you get the idea

Ooh lots of carbon fibre, I was thinking of possibly going that route, although I was just going to stick to the front spoiler and rear bumper spoiler and wing.

You must have been rather busy to get all that done, even at your work rate I guess you have invested quite a few hours into this one.

I suppose while I'm here I may as well post an update. All I've been doing is the vent on the side just in front of the wheel arch. Another pointless exercise in not copying and pasting. It's almost identical to the vent in the same place on the Ferrari 430, which I could have copied and pasted in no time and reshaped it to fit, but instead I spent ages doing it by hand, which almost definitely doesn't look as good. I guess I'm kind of wasting my time doing something that I could copy and paste from somewhere else rather than creating something unique, but at least it helps to improve technique and get a better understanding of colour and light. I hope so, at least, otherwise I'm just wasting a lot of time.

I aint bothering this weeks challenge, havent had as much time as last time.

As for the voting, it didnt really bother me that i didnt get a vote last time. I was a bis disheartened, as i feel no one really looked at mine, but still wasnt to ars*d as was my 1st attempt.

heres an update not to much happened. made rims bigger fitted intercooler and side exit exhaust. think the roof shop i did was a bit to much tho :S

I think the roof looks alright, makes it look llike a muscle car. I would say that other than supercar shapes, almost every car looks better when you lower the roofline. If only humans were shorter, we'd all have nicer looking cars.

Woh bring back copying and pasting. I've spent about two hours just drawing the bit on the bottom of the rear bumper and I still wouldn't say it looks particularly realistic. How the smeg do you make things look shiny?

welll i have uploaded me pic gonan be quite busy tonight and tomorrow so have posted it now, as usual my changes were quite subtle with most of the work involving the front. and lil bit of back re shaping. anyway its my mx5 supercharged pole position.

I've managed to get precisely sod all done today, despite having had the day off work, because I've been having to run around after middle son who has decided he can't walk due to a tiny cut on the bottom of his foot.

On the plus side, at least the deadline doesn't affect me this week.

as ive had my PC usage limited, all ive been able to do is make a nice new wing for it and an intercooler

so this is my final one, so if someone can add it for me, id be VERY grateful!!

Forgot? I didn't forget to put the link in the first post, I just couldn't be arsed, it's not like it's difficult to find. I did, at least, write that they had to be posted to the PS gallery and the name format to be used.

I suppose I ought to start preparing a thread for the vote, because I have to get my oldest sone to "Beavers" by 18:15, so time might be a little tight. Fortunately it's only 5 minutes away.
