Speaking of feeling bad, I noticed a fresh ding on the side of my car on Saturday in an odd position just under the passenger side rear window. Coincidentally it had just been in for a service! No proof but seriously annoying.
Good idea!
Whenever I rent a car, I always take a video of it on my phone. I walk around slowly. That way, they can't blame you for that scuffed wheel, paint chip etc. that they have made the previous 10 drivers pay for!
Am I being cynical?
hi guys, just wondering if anyone could help me ? i own a 2008 fiat fiorino. I've had it with about 6 months now and its been running great. today when i went to top up my window washer fluid i noticed some piping cable tied in the engine bay. it is not plumbed up to anything its just sitting there!anyone no what it could be off or should be connected to ?
Good news. The panel is in & it's being fitted while I wait on Friday
The lady is keen to give us the money & has been lovely about it all.
I visited Screwfix this morning to pick up some DIY bits, one of which was some carpet trim. I remember it slipped when I put it in the boot and caught what I thought was the parcel shelf.
Got home and noticed a crease running across the painted bumper and down onto the unpainted skid plate.
Whilst it may not look like much in the photo, I can't walk past the car without noticing it.
Would have been cheaper to have paid a decorator!
As its the wife's car I'm not the most popular person in the household at the moment either.
Sorry just rereading my post, it looks like I'm trying hijack the thread.
I was just joining in with my own violated rear end.
Apologies if I've broken forum etiquette
So just to follow up on this, I decided that as the unpainted part of the skid plate was damaged there would be no way to perform an invisible repair so I asked Fiat for a price.
Considering a figure of £200 was mentioned earlier in the thread I was surprised to be quoted £56.58 + vat. According to the picture I was shown it also included the metal skid plate.
So what's the difference between a rear bumper on Panda Trekking compared to a Cross (at least to warrant such a price difference)?
