i wonder, is that cancan red or sunset red/

This is sunset red, but this pic doesn't really represent it very well. I think it looks more orangey in the flesh?

FYI our local dealer has sold their white T/A demo car already and has booked I think he said six orders. That's not a lot in my book... I think FIAT need it featured on Top Gear to help move it along. Come to think of it, with the current series why haven't they? It would have made an interesting contrast to the Range Rover.
yeah, I think you are right. The sunset red is distinctly orange. its quite a common panda colour I think they seem to take a lot of promo pics in that colour.
I wish i could find out which dealers have which colours in stock to look at as I have not got the time to ring and keep being told we have green and white, neither of which I want!

That red is a bit too bright - ouch my eyes!
Emailed another Fiat garage yesterday to see if they had a Trekking in I could test drive and no reply at all
Don't these people want business?
Although I also emailed a Suzuki garage re. Swift Sport - and again, no reply!

Well this other Fiat Dealer emailed me back today.
They had a Trekking but just sold it - won't get another one in for 2 weeks so they promise to contact me so we'll see.
Test driving the Suzuki Swift Sport over weekend as possible alternative.

AT LAST!! There is now a 4x4 & Trekking brochure available on the website. Look at it carefully though as some of the details differ from the web configurator.

At last. I asked again on Monday and they said it was still delayed.
I'm still waiting for a call to say my car spec can't be built as they've not sorted out the winter pack or collision avoidance :-(
Another member said they'd heard there's a problem with the orange colour too. At this rate I'll be waiting longer for my panda 4x4 than I was for my 500 when that first came out (6 months) and that was ordering before it was released (they blamed the funk white paint that time).
Winter pack shouldn't be a problem should it?

Winter pack is on the configurator but can't see it on the PDF brochure. Also the seat pack contents differ! Will have to clarify with dealer Monday. Also was thinking of getting orange now not silver

Looked at Suzuki Swift Sport this morning but did not even bother to test drive it as boot too small for the musical instrument I play to fit in it and don't feel like having it on back seats all the time.
Oh well - lets hope the garage get a Trekking in shortly so I can have a look.

If you have a fancy phone download Ciao Fiat Mobile. This enables you to download the owners manual which now includes all the 4x4 bits, heated seats (look at the front seat bit) and screen (in the climate section).
