Hmmm, general delays affecting Pandas and the 4x4 in particular - if I correctly understand the voice message the dealer left me earlier today. My car will be late March delivery at the very earliest. These guys aren't paid to be realistic, so I guess i'll get happy with an April delivery?? Still, this gives me more time to find a personal plate, i suppose...

Great news. Checked with my dealer on Friday and no change with mine so still W13 build. Don't really understand why mine is so late. It's not the dealers fault as I've seen the order on their system since I placed it. Either it is the colour (orange) or the CBC option.
Popped to my nearest dealer today (not where I ordered from) and picked up the new panda brochure. They don't even have a 4x4 and the salesman said the manager said he won't get one in (they'd sold the two stock cars) apart from a customer order yet they had a big sticker in the window saying 'fiat panda 4x4 top gear SUV of the year' !

Hi all, decided to go for the white, looked at all the colours but could not decide. I looked at the orange but still just couldn't get on with it, even though it might have grown on me just didn't feel right. Should be arriving mid March but dealer said it could be a bit earlier.
After being back in my Cross again this morning, it does feel a bit different as in ride quality and the engine seems not as refined but still love the Cross to bits,just hope it's new improved brother is as good.

Just ordered 4x4 TA in sicilian orange with pumpkin/charcoal trim + a few extras. Should have it late May/early June

well, the detachable tow bar I am going to go with is the one in the dealer-fit accessories catalogue. The factory fit 'retractable' one in the main brochure is not available until September, sadly, but not worth delaying the car for..........

That's real bad.
What reason did they give?
Status 10 is heavy variable, meaning only just placed on order and you can change anything on the order, eg change to a panda 1.2 pop from a 4x4.
Cancel, you'd be no worse off. It may be a trek for you to collect, but I reckon my buddy could get your car quicker, and cheaper for you.

yeah, my order placed yesterday says status 10 also. the dealer estimated that it would be with them last week may or 1st week June..........this is fine as he had already said 10-12 weeks. Besides, I am on holiday tomorrow for 3 weeks (yessss!) and then I still have plenty of time to sell the old car afterwards
Hi deeyup. I took the call from the dealer during a meeting, so not got the details yet. Obviously I'm a bit naffed off, but i will call him in the morning and see if they know 'more precisely' why its been put back. He did mention the spec (which includes CBC and most other options, to be honest). I would be happy to go to another dealer and less outlay would also be good so i may well get back to you shortly on that. One question though - why would one dealer be any better then another at getting a car sooner? Surely once the order is placed, no matter which dealer places it, then it's down to the factory? Thoughts on this?
