There is a gap between my taillights and the bumper. Also the towbar and plastics collide.

I wonder if my rear bumper is low?

I have one more bonus question, I didn't want to open a separate topic.

My rear wiper does not wipe well. I think the publication does not print well on the glass.
It cannot apply force to the upper parts of the wiper. Not tight. Has anyone had any problems with this?

There is a gap between my taillights and the bumper
It's been in a minor rear end accident at some time in its life. The bumper and some of the area around it have been resprayed. It's possible the metal behind the bumper has been bent slightly out of position, which is pulling the bumper out of shape. It might be possible to improve the fit, but I suspect you'd need to straighten the metal behind it to sort this out..

There's a lot of overspray on the rear light cluster, and even some on the bumper attachment screw. Whoever did this painted it with the bumper and cluster in place. That's both good news and bad news. Good in the sense that it was probably only a minor accident, but bad in the sense that it's a very low quality repair job - it would have been better to remove the bumper, and paint it off the car.

Get underneath the back of the car and have a close look at both the bumper itself, and the area around where the bumper attaches.

My towhook plastic was broken and glued together.
All part of the same thing; you can see traces of filler around the hole in the bumper, and the paint is starting to chip and crack. It's a pretty shoddy repair.

But it's all just cosmetic; on a car of this age, I wouldn't worry about it.
