Technical Panda 1,1 abs problem

Hi Iam looking for some help for my 2011 petrol 1,1 panda. Abs stopped working and abs and hand brake icon lights constantly. Diagnostic show error C1108.

Possibly N/S/F ABS Sensor or fault in that area.
I suggest you get a error code reader with more detail before fitting parts.

Diagostic unit was able to see speed from all sensors.

Has the car had an accident recently

Has the car had an new parts wheel bearing or third party sensors for example

Personally I would clear the code then swap two over and re read the code

See if the error follows the sensor or stays on the same corner

Is possible to read speed from bad sensor ? Because diagnostic unit was getting speed from all four sensors.

Yes

It will report an error while driving if one wheel is constantly different to the rest.

Once cleared the light shouldn’t come in before the car moves

We were trying to clear the error but without succes.

If you clear the code does it go but come back when you switch the ignition on and off

Pull the obd connector out

Then switch the ignition off and back on

It didnt help, if I remeber correctly error was back after clearing even without ignition on and off

Brake fluid correct

Handbrake warning light is handbrake and fluid combined I believe

Yes it’s a combo warning light

Brake fluid is full at max mark

If ABS warning light returns without moving car then ABS sensors are active as opposed to passive which should mean you have a voltage to check at each wheel sensor. On a Skoda I had 11.5 volts on one side and 8volts on the other due to corroded wires.

There isn’t an obvious connection between the handbrake light and abs

Did they fail together

Is there 12V here switch open
And 0V switch closed
