Technical ABS 4 x 4 169 2007 Problem

Hi All, not sure if anyone can help? I have an ABS light on. Initially when starting the car the light is off, initial driving at slow speed the light stays off but you can hear and feel the brakes pulsing when you press the pedal. Once you pick up speed the light comes on and the brakes feel and sound OK but I'm guessing the ABS has switched it's self off. I have an AUTEL ML629 code reader but this doesn't list Panda's and doesn't seem to connect (talk) to the vehicle. Any information would be very much appreciated. LauraD

You need to connect to the ABS module and read the code, without it we are in the dark

It's likely to be a sensor or wheel bearing 4x sensors 5x bearings

Or could be something else

without reading the code it's could turn costly trying this that and the other, there's 4 corners, you could guess right first time or 8th time

I agree with Koalar.

If the light is on ABSwill be non functional. Also this will mean dirm braking will have thecrear whels locked which is unsafe. Drive accordingly and for the minimum possible distance untill its fixed!!!

The ABS on the 4x4 are normally a bit different, yaw sensors, stability and so on

But basically it's a Bosch 8 system, I don't know why you scanner will not connect to it


Fiat is listed in the instruction


Does it power on
Does it scan the engine module
