OT - Need a peice of software, help?

Guys,

I need ExpertCAD (any version). Tried searching for torrents but nothing.

We have paid for 10 licenses at work (£2,250ea) but need a dongle for each PC.

It's only for the users so they can work from home you see.

Having bought the licenses can't you just ask the software vendor for some dongles?

I'm guessing you mean ontop of the 10 licences you want to re-install it at their homes?

we just use Autocad and their licence arrangement is that it can be installed on a user's home pc aswell as lone as it is only used on one or the other at a time? if that makes sense.

can you install it and just tell the users they have to take their dongles home if they ant to work at home?

The donles are all parrallel, not USB.

I know what you guys are saying, but Soft-tech will not give me another licence without paying (even though there will only be one in use)

they can still take them home though? just an expensive thing to lose i guess!

we have some dongles liek that for some software they use when they plug into tractors but the dongles are totally interchangable?

They can take them home, but it's just not feasable, incase users forget them or lose them etc..

I called Softtech and they can upgrade me to a "Floating" license, it's just darn expensive.

£15k+ !


So, back to the drawing board, any ideas where to get andy dodgy software?
