The world record for a CPU to calculate Pi to 1 million digits is 17.76 seconds.

It takes my P4 3.2Ghz (Socket 478) 45.000s exactly to calculate Pi to 1 million digits.

How long does it take you? :)

The record was set by a T2600 chip (duo) overclocked to 3.4GHz. It has been proven that it is more than capable of keeping pace with a Pentium 4 670 clocked at a staggering 7.2GHz.

Not bad for a machine I've not upgraded in 3 years imo. Could be better tho :)
