change the licenses change the tests change what you like, but you'll never change the thinking patterns of a young person with four mates in the car.
like i say it works for bikes but being on a bike is a different concept to sitting in a car thats why i think the bike licensing works.
i could be completely wrong however and when these restrictions come in (they inevitably will) we may see a huge drop in the accident rate and fatality rate.
goin OT, a friend has just passed and personally i think he's awful shouldn't be on the road but because he has the knowledge to mirror, mirror signal at the correct time etc he's passed. instructors don't teach these kids how to drive they teach them how to pass their tests i mean you don't even go on a motorway ffs how do they truly appreciate a blind spot? when will they cut the crap and start teaching real world driving?! its all good teaching them to drive in an ideal world with ideal road users but WAKE UP we don't live in an ideal world!
