Oil Problem..

Okay, i dont know if this is the best place to put this but.. =/

I got a 55sx 1.1 Punto MK1

and.. basically.. i was driving 2 days ago and realised my Oil cap was missing =0( (must not of been on tight) and oil made a nice small mess under the bonnet.

i have been driving it (needed to for work), but only 50mph tops I notice dit overheats pretty fast, about after 8-10 mins, is that normal since i dont have a freakin oil cap? =/ lol

Im going to get one tomorrow form a scrappy.. will my engine still be okay?

as soon as i noticed, i topped it up. so it wouldnt dry out. and i am going to do the same tomorrow before i elave for the scrappy. Yout hink my engine will be fine? =( and why doe sit overheat? is that normal if no oil cap? (i guess beacuse of pressure etc?)

for the price of a cap, buy a new one
the cap will pressurise and help the oil to lubricate the engine. without it, it will overheat and dump the oil everywhere.

where could i buy a cap fast tomorrow? =/ only palce i can think of is a Scrappy. and i dont know of any fiat dealers around..
