Technical Oil Pressure Gauge Installation 1981 Spider

I currently do not have an oil pressure gauge on my 1981 Fiat Spider. I want to install a mechanical gauge. Can anyone confirm that the port between the # 2 and #3 cylinders is the correct location ( see picture) . I believe that is the sending unit port for the warning light. If this is correct what should I do with the electrical wires that are currently inserted. If I just pull them out will the warning light stay on all the time. As always any assistance/ direction will be greatly appreciated.

The sensor on the cylinder head with the green/white wire is the water temperature sender.

The low oil pressure sender should be on the side of the oil filter head with a grey/yellow wire.
