Good thanks

connect just the oil pressure switch and measure the Ohms from the same pin on the connector under the fuse box to the engine block

we now need to check if 5v is present on the corresponding pin on other half of the connector

ignition on

It says OL

thanks

so there's no 5V getting here and its not being pulled to ground via a short

ECU not sending out 5 volt, ECU connector fault or a break in the wire to this point.

carefully remove the ECU plug and inspect the pins both on the ECU and in the connector. Better if you have a magnifying glass or can take a photo and enlarge.

make sure all the pins look identical and even. No green corrosion

Okay so there is definitely some green corrosion going on, and I have found one pin is sticking out from the connector. I attached the photos and circled that pin.

I would repair it. As thats what I use to do as a job.

most people nowadays just swap everything out.

You need to find someone willing to do the repair.

Probably it can be soldered back on. :( That was my mistake, how stupid of me...

Good luck (y)

while its apart I would address the corrosion on the larger pins

it looks like its getting hot here due to higher resistance caused by the green oxide on the other ECU side

a bit of switch cleaner or contact cleaner should clean it up nicely
