Hello mates,
Thanks for the answers. Yes, an absurd the price they charge for the first service.
About the oil, well, believe me, I have been inside some service workshops and most fiat dealers service do not use the SELENIA WR as recomended. They use normally Castrol or Mobil, cheaper.
The most important is not the brand but the correct specification. 5W30 ACEA A1/B1 - C2 or superior. I have used Castrol ACEA A3/B4 synthetic. No less important, do not mix different oils after changing. Try to use always the same, mainly if you change from based synthetic to full synthetic.
And finally, about the warranty, the normal manufacturer warranty for this car is 1 year, + 2 yrs from the dealer, who has a huge list of exclusions, meaning does not cover anything, so, since my Qubo already completed 1 year, I did the first service myself, saving money and doing better job, I am sure, than they "say" they do.
All my cars and bikes, never trusted dealers for service. The service is a SH*T! No matters with brand, manufacture or workshop. They charge you £60.00 labour hour and pay $6.00 to their mechanics. And mechanics are like family's doctor, if you do not know him enough, better do not use his service.
