As we can't have the owner of Fiat Scotland driving round in a Vauxhall any longer, I feel it is our duty to post any potential Fiat (or Fiat group) vehicles that may be suitable.

I think this is a very sensible suggestion. A bit far to travel, but worth it:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1986-MK1-...932?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3cf3958bec

Reminds me of Fiasco a little. Can't think why....

Something a little more serious:

5dr Stilo 1.6:

Or an easy fixer upper (might even make a good donor/replacement for yellow):

panda looks aa heap tbh

The words "trap" and "Death" come to mind.... not sure in what order.

My suggestions....

Mk1 Punto 60

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...ad/used,nearlynew,new/price-to/1500?logcode=p

Another mk1 punto 60

http://www.gumtree.com/p/fiat/fiat-punto-1.2/1100995430

Another mk1 punto 60 (5dr this time tho)

http://www.gumtree.com/p/fiat/1997-r-reg-fiat-punto-s60-1.3-petrol-/1101581347

There's a few others i spotted, a sei that on the surface looked nice but had a weird respray on the bumper and a patch in the rear arch that had clearly been badly repaired for rust just to get through an mot, a couple of Doblo's (both of which i spotted bottles of oil in the boot! so suspect turbo seal issues), a couple of Stilo's with short mot's so were too pricey for that IMO etc etc.

[girlymode] ooooohhhh, a green seicento [/girlymode]

Panda looks insane and just right for Scottish weather  As to why it reminds you of the fiasco that was err, FiaSco... can't think why lol

Im going to use my sensible head here...

New engine in the van....

Quite how you managed to kill an engine thats strong enough to do 250k i dont know...

But.... with your track record and fiat reliability... i dont think that a fiat would be a good move.

The money you have just spent on the van, you would be best to put a young engine in it.

if you buy a punto 60 i happen to have a nicely tuned 1.2 8v that could go in what ran 88 bhpz on the dyno :)

Potentially something a good bit higher than that coming ;)

Be like the good old days, both of us running around in mk1 puntos

Are you trying to get yourself banned? View attachment 3838 :p

Well, it would be like some sort of classified infringement I'm sure, if I thought for a moment anyone was likely to take it :p

.....mmmm, lovely leather upholstery...panoramic glass roof. What a fine car it would make for the right person ;) Smidgin French though.

Martyn , Have you heard about that.. err... thingymabob from down south or is it waiting till im home?

It was more the French thing triggering the ban hammer than breaking advertising rules (do we even have any rules on here?)

However taking into account this post
