Technical OEM HU Fitted... Mileage Flashing

sooo i fitted an aftermarket unit for another FF member last night, in return for his OEM HU...

Plugged it in, put the M-Code in and now the mileage is flashing. Is the OEM HU an extra node on the BC or does it store mileage info for some obscure reason?

im guessing a proxi alignment will sort it!?

BC stores the mileage also, nothing bezare about that, stops clocking from being so easy

wrong - the mileage is not stored in the Body computer, only in the instrument cluster and the engine ecu....

Same difference, it's stored elsewhere as well as the instrument cluster. Thanks for the correction though
