Hi Guys and Gals,
Recently purchased a 2004 Punto HGT, having sorted a water leak and various other little problems my partner decided the head unit installed was a little horrid to say the least....
The previous owner had obviously installed soem aftermarket ice as;
1- RCA leads were in the car along with earth and live cables, now removed.
2- Infinity 6 x 9's are inststalled into the rear shelf
3- Rather poor head unit was installed to where I assume the cd changer once was.
Anyway the guy had utileised the original wiring for the 6 x 9 and used the same plugs, so I have just plugged the original speakers back in, works fine.
The wiring in the dash left little to be desired but it is now back to original and I have installed in "the top compartment" a new 2008 Pioneer CD Player, that is capable to using the steering wheels controls.
All sounds ok apart from the fact that the original sub in the boot does not work. It is plugged in , but appears to do nothing, the fuse is ok and I am now at a bit of a loss, maybe he disconnected it somehow so he sould use his own???
Can anyone help in the quest to regain the sub??
Many thanks in advance.....
