500X Stereo Advice

I'd love some advice if possible. It may be a stupid question and someone may very well have already answered it elsewhere (i have looked, honest)

I have a 2016 500x plus and I'm looking to switch out my Uconnect head unit for a Kenwood unit with android auto. I know that there are certain menus accessed via the headunit for the car itself. Will i lose this functionality if i put a different head unit in?

Any help would be appreciated.
