After a little help on this one. I had the input shaft bearing fail on my 2004 1.2 Active earlier in the year. The seal went with it and covered the clutch in oil. So fitted new clutch kit and a reconditioned gearbox.
That was in January of this year and I've done about 4000 miles on it without issue.
Then last week it started making a noise sounds like bearings. I thought it was my big end bearings when I first heard it but it's definitely coming from the gearbox and stops when you disengage the clutch.
The noise is present in every gear although much less noticeable in higher gears. The gearbox is functioning fine selects all gears without fault.
Does this sound like it could be the input shaft bearings again? Or something else maybe the clutch release bearing?
Any input is appreciated
