My rears were making a heck of a racket - just like tyres on rough tarmac. There was no bearing play and no roughness that I could detect. New hubs and noise was gone.
Just been out. Noise is there engine off clutch in and rolling down the hill.
Noise doesn't change with the gears, dipping clutch when driving but does change markedly with road surface.
Can't decide whether tyres or wheel bearings but as the front had to have a new one for mot I guess they could all be due a refresh.
Might consider some front tyres for a change also.
My Renault Scenic is due it's not next month so will have to wait until I know that isn't going to bankrupt me!
I run my panda on 165/65/14 tyres by Davanti.. There good in the wet and dry weather and Quite.. Look at the specs against top brands.. Recently had a tyre coudn,t be repaired, true to their word replaced the tyre for new plus fitting for £22.50.. Who else does that ? What i,m saying is look at Davanti tyres , before choosing new tyres
