Hope some one can help me, the wipers have stopped working again. I have checked the fuse, taken off the wiper motor which seems to work when i run 12v through it. It happend once before and after a while all started to work fine. The washers still operate and the rear wash wipe but nothing with the front wipers. Could it be the switch, relay or something else? Any help would be great.

I hope this is not the case on yours but on my Alfa I had to strip the motor casing and remove a ton of grease that was causing problems on the electrical tracking and I found a cracked solder joint to the motor.

Yep check that the contacts in the motor are not covered with grease..

and check you have a sound earth when its fitted back inplace..

That set up looks a bit easier than the Alfa's, the cracked solder joint on mine was one of the main connections to the motor.

Thanks for the help, it turns out to be the wiper motor that is faulty. Cleaned the grease off and tried again with no luck. Tried my motor on friends car and wipers didnt work, thier motor worked perfect on my car. Looks like i need to purchase a new motor from fiat.

Does the motor look and smell burnt out then?

I don't know how good you are with electronics but it's probably just a bad connection on the motor/circuit board, if you can use a multi meter etc it's worth having a look.
