Technical Front window help

Hi
Just a quick question , my drivers side window ,appears to have come off the rail, I can still move it up and down an inch but it catches on the frame , just need to know what parts I need to buy to fix this , I’ve looked on auto doc but can only find the electric window motor kit , does it just come as a whole ?

There lots of reasons for the windows not going up and down properly

Slider can fall out of the guide rail

I've had a new window motor fitted everything works fine until the window goes back up. I've looked at the window glass and their is a small green piece of plastic on the inner window in the seal that seems to be impeding the window function. I've asked the person who fitted it what this is and...

Slider can snap off the window

Clips at the bottom can snap, probably the most common

Wires can get tangled

Mechanical damage

And so on

Without looking further into it, nobody can say you need this part, it would be purely a shot in the dark

The fist thing really is a visual inspection and identify the problem, then we can point you in the the correct parts required

Il try get a few photos today
But it’s still winding up and down to a certain point just then jams , I think it might be the clips , just not sure where to get them from

Not sure how helpful the photos will be but the window won’t go any further than that and there’s what looks like few clips in the bottom of the door ?

I've replaced the window mechanism twice on my 1.1 eco. Each time it is a plastic clip that breaks but I've replaced the entire mechanism. Wasteful, but relatively cheap. I purchased from Amazon last time. I recommend buying the entire rail, motor etc. it's easy to fit.

Agree with Koalar. Clips on the base of the glass. Probably a Fiat garage for parts. One broken clip causes the window to go up on the skew and stick
. Change them all ! Both sides.

This is the part, as it doesn't work take it off. I think its held on by 3 bolts, then you can see whats broken, almost certainly the plastic clips that the window sits on.

If you want to use the car while your waiting for the parts lift the window up until it closes then jam some wood under it.
