The driver's side window had been kept up with gaffer tape - until I removed it and replaced with a wall bracket screwed into the door panel (not better but the gaffer was a sign that the window could just be forced down- for aluagh see attached image of my 'fix'.

The electric window motor seems to work as pushing the up or down makes an electric clunking sound but nothing moves. Therre seems to be a plastic runner that has sheered off but I think was just a runner not what grasped the window and lifted / dropped it. ANy ideas on what the problem could be? I suspect it is more than one...

Although getting the correct plastic clip isn't easy

A full replacement of the whole regulator was under £30.a couple of years ago and much easier

I know @irc was struggling for a supplier of the last couple of years and the ones sold on eBay for the panda don't fit properly

The regulators at this price are sub quality compared to the original but get the job done if a bit slower

Yep. Despite sending them photos they continued to insist that theirs were right and I was wrong, so got a refund and gave up.
I've "harvested" a few from scrap Pandas but they are all fairly brittle (although they do fit, which is an improvement over the ebay ones).
If anyone has a supplier of correct ones at a reasonable price, maybe it would be good to give them a shout out here?
Or someone with a 3d scanner and printer who wants to have a go?
