Yes im toying with the idea of adding Electric windows to the back. Has anyone done this.

Anybody know where the ECU controller for the Windows is? Obviously the 100hp. Mine at the moment only does one touch on the driver's side and not the passenger's. Still looking for a Decent Workshop Manual. It would save a lot of hassle!

I just cant get used to the switches being on the center console even after a year! I want them near the door handle, Like in my VWT4. I also want One touch on every window. Any thoughts?

If you don’t try these things, you never find out if they can be done 🤷
It will definitely be done. I used Renault megane switches in my T4. I haven't modded for nearly 20 years. What a change to the Scene. No one can select a part anymore unless they have a Registration number. Your not allowed to take parts of the car in the Scrapyard anymore oh and be careful of being a fire hazard. And a Decent manual with decent info seem's to be Smoke and Mirror's. Looks like in house Monopoly's succeded!

Sadly no one can fix a car anymore unless they plug a computer in! And even then they don't have a Scooby Doo! to interpret the readings? Just saying like the world has gone NUTS!

Least i had my extra hour to think about how im going to do it 🤗

That’s the problem now, not many good “old school mechanics” around now, too many “fitters” that just want to chuck parts at vehicles because the computer told them too! Agreed about scrapyards too, used to be half the fun turning up with your tools wrapped up in a bit of rag, wondering if you’d actually be coming away with the part you went for or not!

Have you downloaded eLearn for the Panda from the forum's download site yet? IIRC that version does cover the 1.4 engine, and if it doesn't, the 500 eLearn definitely does.

The 100HP is probably one of the last of the cars where you actually can do pretty much everything yourself for the price of a copy of MES.

One touch only on the drives window is a standard feature feature on many modern cars, I guess it's for safety reasons, no doubt car that don't crush fingers will be on all windows

The body computer node M001:

  • receives the signal from pin 14 connector H for raising the driver's window;
  • receives the signal from pin 24 connector H for lowering the driver's window;
  • receives the signal from pin 15 connector H for raising the passenger window;
  • receives the signal from pin 25 connector H for lowering the passenger window;
Having received the commands, the body computer node supplies the electric motors for raising/lowering the window.

To raise the window, the body computer node supplies the electric motors N060 and N061 from pins 3 (driver's side) and 4 (passenger side), connector M.

To lower the window, the body computer node supplies the electric motors N060 and N061 from pins 2 (driver's side) and 5 (passenger side), connector M.

It's all controlled via the body computer

As far as I know none of the special editions had rear electric windows

@portland_bill I guess your still had manual rears ?

The only option I believe is to fabrication a purely electrical system for the rears from scratch

Manual free online direct from fiat

You can get ‘add on’ kits to retain the original window regulators…it’s tight on a lot of rear doors but not impossible…is it worth it though?

Normally on the panda you can bolt on things from a higher spec car as the chassis normal retain all the fixings

But as far as I know no pandas model has electric rear windows so everything will have to be done from scratch
