Hi id greatly appreciate any advice from anyone who has struggled to get parts for a twin air. I have a 62 plate panda with a lot of problems getting the parts. My panda has sat on the drive since the middle of January with a broken clutch pedal. The clutch is slipping from it not disenaging do don't want to make the clutch go completely from wrecking it. I've waited now 11 weeks for the part - now they've sent the wrong part from Italy.. waiting to find out if they'll send another or if they have one come across is big shipment sent yesterday.
My turbo pipe cracked and now there is an indefibate wait on that. No idea when they will send it and all the mechanics and garages say no one's manufacturing them except fiat.
Before this I needed a new CV joint and had to buy a drive shaft as they don't make a CV joint on its own for the twin air, my model anyway. I had to wait 10 weeks for that.
I don't know what to do to keep having no car for nearly three months with no idea of when it will arrive. Has any one got similar problems? I want to sell it as soon as it's fixed it's done nothing but break despite having it serviced yearly. It's only five years old and after passing the three year mark it's had loads go wrong. They won't offer me a courtesy car or anything as it's passed three years old.
Has anyone put a spring on from a scrap yard or found anywhere that sells parts I might not have tired. I'd gladly now travel to country to get my back on the road.

I'd really appreciate any help as I don't know what to do next just to get my car back running.

I suspect the clutch pedal's a probem because it's only made for right-hand drive markets - it's also surely quite hard to break a clutch pedal so demand is negligible. Other parts I imagine are available easily in Italy

Well if it were me, I would remove the broken pedal and take it to a decent agricultural engineer. These guys really know welding, and they know how to deal with cracked and broken things too and I am pretty sure if you took the pedal box along you would have it back repaired better than new for a small sum of money and a couple of days. These guys generally like a challenge and do a really good job. The re-supply of parts sent in error sounds like a job that Fiat customer services could help with in getting the parts sent pronto. Good luck.

How are you getting on with this?

Yes the perals are made so they snap under heavy load ( crazh impacts)

Other mechanical parts should be commonly found.

The clutch on my car was not releasing properly. Eventually I fitted a new clutch and all has been well ever since. However I also had problems with the clutch hydraulic system (RHD cars do not use the cable clutch). Replacing the master and slave cylinders as a system was a big improvement.

Your turbo pipe can probably be welded - plastic or metal. Maybe some some silicone hose of the right size can be put over the broken section to cover the crack. Then work out why it cracked. Has a support bracket been left loose?

CV joints/drive shafts are usually sold as complete units, but there are specialist companies that do rebuilds on old shafts.
