Hi I have a 2002 Fiat Punto with the standard Blaupunkt tape/Radio combo hooked up to a 10 CD changer in the boot, I want to take all of this out and replace it with a Sony GT210/212 HU.

I have found a fitting kit on eBay for £10 which has a Fascia adaptor,Aerial adaptor, Fiat radio removal pins and I've found the Sony mentioned above.

My questions really are;

How easy is it to remove the headunit and put in a sony one?
How easy is it to take out the cd changer and wiring?

Thanks

Any chance you can point me in the direction of some pictures to show that?

Has anyone got any pictures of this that I can use as a guide?

basically the punto HU only uses one live. however the new HU will need two.

what toad is trying to explain is that you need to connect the new HU's lives, the red and yellow, to the cars single live. you can either put both cables into the same pin, or easier option is just scotch lock the red and yellow together.

So I just have to make sure I put the red into the double connector with the yellow and it should work yeah?
Sorry for the easy questions just don't want to c*ck it up!
