Hi , i just picked up a 165 mjet. I liked the looks , price seemed decent for the mileage.

First impressions , drives alright . N/S wiper lifts at speed and the blue+me is stupid. 95miles home and 38MPG is a god send considering i came from 18months & 20k miles of MPS ownership (~360/360).

Hello, picked up my T-jet this afternoon as well, drove it back to Edinburgh from Newcastle, started at 26mpg and was 32 when I got home, figured out the blue&me about an hour ago and also the sunroof needs lubed up

Left Fiat about 5 years ago to go Honda, so glad to be back

On a run you should expect high 40's at the very least. A 100 mile trip involving mainly motorways will see about 55mpg out of my 165

Really 55mpg from the 165? Thats really good. Better than I would've though, as on a long run (Leeds to London) I would get somewhere between 55-60mpg depending on traffic in my 105 'eco'.

Yeah I've seen between 50-55mpg regularly on a good solid run. If your heavy with your right foot you'd still see high 40's.

Round town I'm getting about 40-45 with the occasional heavy foot.

Yeah the previous owner (who's also a member on this forum) had an economy map put on it. It's running about 180bhp but still retaining the economy.

Best of both worlds.

I didnt trade it in , i sold it privatley. I then decided to buy a xtype and do 6 months of cheap motoring , well that lasted 3 weeks before the slave cylinder went , which leads me to the bravo .

Yes 38 mpg driven in the same fashion as the MPS to clear out the DPF on the way/race home. This car is to tide me over while i save up for a new house ,hence the MPS sale.

Cant say i have ever been a fiat fan , but i thought well 1. it looks better than i thought it would 2. Cars after 2010 are all a much of a muchness 3. I hate VAG

Plans are:

Apex springs
Tints
Heko wind deflectors
HID kit
Cree fog light bulbs
Roof wrap (undecided)
Refurb and spray alloys
Back box as the stock one looks cheap IMO.
K&N filter
P-torque custom map + DPF + EGR delete

edit

Today i decided to sort the tracking out , thought great drove off and it was worse :( . After much faffing i plugged the car in an reset the steering wheel angle sensor , wallah drives straight now on smooth and flat tarmac. Funnily enough , the exact same thing happened to me when i bought the mps .

Yea the remap I had put on Marty84s Bravo when I had it was a middle ground map, insane torque but improved MPG too. On a 60mph 100 mile cruise I was getting nearly 70mpg! Would get high 40s driving spiritidly and mid 50s driving carefully.
