Hi thanks for replying, I have a remote key,Fiat bravo 2008 1.6 diesel multi jet, had a new track rod end put on but the problem was already there, was advised to get a new key, done this problem still there had no trouble with the car up until now.Click on your username

So you only had 1 working key..??
Possible its chip had failed
How was your replacement key coded to the Bravo..?
Through the OBD socket ??
Did they try and reinstall your original key also?

Hi , I’m not sure if it was through the CBD socket as don’t know we’re or what that is sorry, he was sat in my drivers seat bent over yes they tried to reinstall my original key and did say they couldn’t find anything wrong with the original but I went ahead and got one to rule out that problem

Probably not a KEY problem
Its the Immobiliser that is stopping the car from running... but why..??
Cheapest thing to try..
Disconnect the engine battery for a few hours..
That might just clear a fault
You just uncouple the big black cable on the battery
