Is it a Fiat engine?
The last 2.0 16v Fiat I believe was the Tipo/Coupe. Bravo's were 20v. Stilos were 1.8 or 2.4.
yes it's a fiat, but i can't figure out for which car?
What's written on the VIN plate?
could it be from a Ulysees? did they have 2.0 16v engines?
if it is definately a fiat engine then it will be from the tipo or coupe, but a 2.0 16v is more likely to be french. the ulysse is a eurovan that uses the same engine as the synergie, 806 and zeta (or c8, 807 and phedra for the later version).
the 2.0 8v was replaced by the 130bhp 2.0 16v at July 2000 so if the engine is from 2000 or later it is a french EW10 engine.
if it is older than 2000 then it is an italian, either the 146bhp 160A8.046 (tipo sedicivalvole) or the 139bhp 836A3.000 (coupe and tipo sport)

yes, but a lancia could still be the french or italian engine depending on the model.
the lancia zeta and phedra use the french EW10 engine.
the lancia thema uses the italian engine in 144 (98-92) and 153 (92-95) bhp outputs.
Now that's likely to open a whole crate of cans of worms.
It depends what you want it to do. It's quite a torquey engine as it's mapped to haul a Ulysse about. Then again it's not a Fiat unit so won't have the typical Italian soundtrack.
