My new VXR

Currently reading:
My new VXR

No wasnt a renault versus world or megane vs vxr thread lol. it was a very drunken me trying to make sense of something. Not working and utimately falling unconscious moments later and waking up this morning unable to even drink water cause it will no longer stay down...by this morning i mean 20 minutes ago though lol.

Was just cruios what the VXR did the ring in. But obviously didnt lap massively faster. And well the megane is possibly one of the ugliest cars around and isnt that much quicker than a clio 182. Although the convertible doesnt look too bad. unfortunately its a convertible though lol.

And i dont even own a renault no more. So not really sticking up for them. Dont plan on owning one again either. I want something rwd next time and turbo'd. Got my eyes on a couple cars.

im not going to the pyramids, we're staying in sharm el sheik on the red sea coast, its absolutely beautiful there. The water is incredible, so clear and clean and the reefs are amongst the best in the world!

You should go, it is an incredible place(y)

It was an....erm interesting night and I think this time im really not drinking for a while. 10 shots of vodka in 5 minutes was not a good way to start the night. Other than that I remember leaving my apartment and I remember waking up this morning and becoming good friends with the toilette.

Not pleasant.

On another note Mcdonalds might seem like a good quick and easy way to get food into you it tastes even worse coming back up.
 
Koa,when your back :D have you seen the small article on the VXR in this months EVO mag?
not worth buying it for it but its talking about VXR perfomance centre in oxfordshire(tied in with the BTCC race prep partner 888 race engineering) putting together performance packages fro the VXR
looking at engine,braking and suspension packages.
mentions checking www.vxrperformance.co.uk but i dont see any products listed for the VXR yet so it might be too soon

Cheers Custard (y) That place do use the same Maps as Regal and a few guys n gals have had theirs done already, with very good reports :)
 
That is one hell of a sweet ride man, tell me what engine does that baby come with, 2.0L Turbo? I envy you! :)

Yeah it's a 2.L Turbo, now remapped. Can't tell you what figures it's pushing out because on a dyno the regulator cuts in and limits the reading, just need to get more cold air in there sometime and the RR just hasn't got enough of it :( . But on the road it's quite easy to tell it's well over 280hp at the moment, and it holds the power right up to 7,500rpm.
 
Getting the wheels done this week, just going for black. I think as long as I keep them clean and shiney they'll look just as big as the silver ones.

i am very very jealous :(

saw a metallic blue vectra VXR the other day and i swear i actually fell in love with it!

also went down to the local vauxhall dealer a while back to pick up some bits for the misses and they had an all black vectra VXR in there irmscher'd up... it was gooooooorgeous!!

The Vectra VXR is a stunning motor, I was tempted when I saw it but preferred the Astras rawness and chuckability :) The Corsa VXR should be quite fun too :D
 
yeah, the vectra VXR is plain and simply a beast! but my god is it smart, for an odd reason i like the vectra shape anyway but the wheels, zaust and other bits and bobs just top it off.

i'm just examining the new corsa VXR now, 1.6 turbo sounds nice but i'm not into that styling one little bit (n)

well actually when you think about it(raised in the hate MPV's thread)some people are forced into buying an MPV through family or whatever circumstances and would like a blinged/souped up version.remeber they did the GSI version before
