Punto (Mk1) My Mk1 55s Punto project, finally finished.

Introduction

How I got it:
Blown head gasket
Rusted through coolant passages in head
Handbrake not working
Rusted heater matrix
Warped discs
Cam cover leaking (a common problem in punto's? lol)
Shocks busted, except 1, lol
all locks broken (attempted break in, just broke the locks..)
passenger door damaged (chav attempted break in w/ crowbar) I'm hidin the green door as much as i can in the pics lol.
Don't remember what else was up.. not bad for £50

just gave the head a decent refurb and clean up, same with the rest of the mechanical parts of the engine


To this day:
Cross drilled and slotted discs, standard pads lol.
-60mm springs all round, apparently...
Spax shocks all round
40mm tricker TB
Remapped Sei chip
Stiffened engine mounts
20mm spacers all round
SX dash
Oil catch can
Induction kit
1.7 TD front bumper + ebay splitter
Ebay side skirts
JBL home made box (2x 10") with JBL gto 72.1 (i think?) amp
JVC head unit
Sporting center console
50% tint rear 60% light green tint on front..
GT3 cat-back Exhaust w/ 1.2 Punto manifold and downpipe
"NEVERBEEN!" sticker on suntrip along with "MOMANATORZ" (xbox gamertag)
and fiatforum stickers :slayer:
YAY FIATFORUM!

I think that's about it...

this rat look cinq wont be for a few years yet, dont worry ;)

i think you should go for rusty ass ladders, and like a bucket with squeegees cable tied on one end so it hangs there, but doesnt fall off :D

build one, and run the laders through it, and have the bucket sitting in it...

and yeah, DIY with some rusty metal, would look wicked...
Got some definite plans now. Home made roof rack with that wooden ladder. but before that i'm gonna do chequered roof... oh no i've succumbed to the chequer fad! but i'm just gonna take the paint off so it'll be rust and blue chequer so it's different :slayer: heheheheheheeh

Ok bit of a late update but my computer was broken for more than a week! it was hell lol. front is lowered now with roof rack and ladder done with a subtle wonky front plate lol.
my clutch cylinder blew the other day :bang:
so p1ssed man... just when my computer was fixed.. i only drove it for a few mins aswell :(

Yeah sorry.. totally forgot about fiatforum since my computer was fixed and my slave cylinder replaced... was so chuffed when it was back on the road... just fixed a fat exhaust leak i had for a few weeks now.. sounds so nice !
done quite a bit since... here we go.
some pics were before i matt black'ed the trim (except front bumper) and accidentally did a door too :cool:
getting the eibach front camber bolts soon so stance will be lookin sicker !

maybe he wanted to be different and stand out from all the boring "wow thats the 18th one like that i have seen at this show" if you cant be nice or constructive dont voice your opinion or slate someone for doing something to thier car that you dont like, thats the problem with this forum, there are too many people who will slate a car for being different
