Hi this is my newest purchase at £100 couldn't say no.
That looks in good condition for 100quid

bargain! whats the plan for it?
I'm just going to put a cambelt on it and a new clutch kit for now and drive it dor the summer and then over the winter try and find a set of standard alloys and get the little bits of body work done.
Yours is practically identical to my old one, bar the GT alloys which I believe all ELX's cabbies should've come with. Keep an eye on the oil sump, they like to rust and leak, mine did plenty! The 1.6 is a surprisngly nice engine given how basic it is. Make sure the roof folds back properly, the mechanism has a tendency to get stiff and fold incorrectly which will eventually cause a tear.

That looks like a proper bargain. No welding needed? Body looks pretty good, might be worth trying to keep the paint original...
To be fair for it age its not bad the only bit of body work is a previous repair and a scratch on the mirror.
I've had it up onto the ramp at work todo the cambelt and clutch and is pretty solid even in the arch lips.
So far with buy it and parts its cost me £230
