Jesus christ. I appreciate the money spent, but to be honest, it is a complete waste of money, I have spent money on cars in the past, and I could give you a list of alot of BENEFICIAL modifications you could have for £4-5k.
To begin with, to throw money at this car the way you have is crazy, you should have P/ex'd you 1.2 8v and bought a 1.4 16v sporting, or a T-Jet if you can insure it (preferably the T-Jet) I bet with throwing 4-5k at it you could get a 200bhp rocket +some good coilovers. Personally this is not my thing at all, but good on you for being original..... I suppose. I would however cut my loses and just buy a faster car

try and keep up with me round bends.

Slamming the car on coilovers is only going to compromise the ride, get them professionally weighted and corner balanced fella, you will then see a HUGE difference in the way the car handles.

Well I tend to be the bearer of good honest news!
Of course it's up to him how he spends his money, but in a few years time he will realize this!!! Trust me! It's not financial advice, it's speaking through wisdom and experience!

Everyone knows modifying a car is money that you dont get back but if you enjoy modding what does it matter

I think i understand where se7en is coming from as it did seem he was bragging a little about 90bhp and keeping up with him in he corners....

If you cant accept honest views, dont post pictures of your car.

(Although i dont think it looks too bad at all)

i think pictures are posted to get opinions about the look of the car not to question why he is spending money on it.

I would usually agree but not on a GP, the arches are too big and need 17s minimum IMO

went to look today, they suit it perfectly! arches just need flaring a tad!

Yeah I must admit I do too. makes a refreshing change from just whacking on the biggest set of alloys you can find better on your gearbag too .
