Technical My gp2009 petrol, Immobilizer symbol and airbag failure message, not starting (No crank)

My car is not starting, no crank at all... Battry checked it's good... Any help pls

Try disconnecting the battery connect the positive and negative wires from car! Not battery! With wire or jump lead This will discharge the charge in car circuit will or should reset the ecu when battery reconnected also check remote fob battery reconnect battery hopefully it will start

Also scan for airbags fault if you've had a bump? Get reset airbags not sure of cost as varies

I tried this many times but problem not resolved... After doing this (connecting+ve and -ve wires together) my spedometer needle fail far below zero

Can you scan for codes not sure if there is a way using the brake or clutch pedal to get codes alot of cars have this built in functionality?

I cleaned and adjusted aerial on key cyleder slightly forward, immo light disappeared and now my car starts perfectly with no problem

Now I need help in solving airbag Failure, I found two connectors below passanger seat , but both conectors are open and nothing connected to them, seatbelt connector of passenger seatbelt is missing so gray connector should be for seatbelt, what is black connector for? I want to find where the connections goes. I also found only one gray connector below drivers seat which is connected to seatbelt, I cleaned it with WD40 and seatbelt warning light went off, but airbag Failure Message is still there, any help pls

Maybe an Occupancy Sensor..?


In my experience an Airbag fault needs to be cleared with software

With my FIAT the passenger switch for Airbag was damaged

I needed to get MES to clear the error, even after fixing the switch

Wrong, "my friend". Learn how to use diagrams/schematics. Otherwise you'll never repair anything (parts swapping is not "repair").
1. Use ePER (use your VIN) and find proper trim version, drawing. Example link.
2. Use eLearn, study things related to AirBag system. It's a European version, "Grande - India" is not available. But general idea is out there.
3. Use Google and forum search (similar threads about AirBag failure, sensors in the seats, AirBags inside the seats, connectors etc.).

I have different "(high)trim" (but year_2009 too). Under the passenger seat there is a connector set like that... Alternative version/trim (Guide).

Grey small one (2-pin) is for seat-belt probably. Someone shorted it (resistor). If you unplug the big one, there is a fault message... Reset via MES.

Result. So you must find what your trim should be (ePER), then figure out similar version from Euro versions (eLearn). "Connect the dots" (what's missing).

Of course things can be mixed up (someone put there wrong type/version of the wiring harness, seat, airbag module etc.), watch out.
You have an AirBags problem (incorrect number of bags installed/connected) probably. SeatBelt alone doesn't trip AirBag errors...

My car has two airbags, passanger and driver airbags, the connector under passanger side are as I have sent the picture and not like your pictures, and clunder driver seat there is only one grey coloured connector which is for seatbelt

So, WHAT is your problem? You have enough information above to fix it. Just go and do it. Simple-stupid car and low trim level.
No more Internet. Now it's time for real (physical) work, not talking (come back only if you make any progress or have specific technical question).
Focus on AirBag module and wiring (not on/under the seats!) and maybe sensors (like front one, under the bumper). And Basics (grounds, charging).
